Why AI films usually look like a slideshow
Most AI video tools make one great five-second shot. A film needs fifty shots that agree with each other: the same faces, the same jacket, light that matches, and action that continues from the last cut. That's a planning problem as much as a rendering one.

How long can an AI short film be?
As long as your shot list. Each shot is a separate render of 4 to 30 seconds depending on the model; Productions and Film Studio cut them together.
Can I direct individual shots?
Yes. Every shot's prompt, camera, lens and timing is editable before you render.
Will the characters stay consistent?
Every shot carries the cast references. If a model refuses a reference, the shot moves to a model that accepts it.
Can I add dialogue?
Yes. Models with native sound can speak lines, and you can add voiceover and music in the editor.
